Siegfried and Roy, Masters of the Impossible. This phrase actually has the acronym S.A.R.M.O.T.I, which is the acronym the the elderly white lion’s name originates from. Siegfried and Roy are the Las Vegas magicians and animal trainers who worked at the mirage casino, entertaining millions in their time. In Father of the Pride, they are portrayed as a pair of eccentric, campy madmen.
Their philosophies leave much to be desired, like their insistence of the corporate hold on Las Vegas, which leads them to protesting against a small B&B on the Vegas Strip.
However, the show toys with bestiality when Roy finds Snack and starts sleeping with him. However, when Roy finds a new rabbit, Snack is angry and walks out on Roy, who tries to persuade him with the comments “I love animals, you knew this about me. I never said we were going to be exclusive.”
They also treat their animals like they are humans and just simple employees and friends, as though the animals themselves are human.
Well, Siegfried and Roy, the show must go on!
